The Higby House comfortably sleeps 10-14. Master Bedroom - 1 King Bed and optional twin bed in bonus room. Upstairs Bedroom - 1 Queen with option to add 1 twin bed. Upstairs Bedroom - 1 Queen with option to add 1 twin bed. Upstairs Bedroom - 2 twins with option to add 3rd twin bed. Upstairs Loft - Full bed Our home is professionally cleaned. We have central AC and Heat throughout. The hot tub is treated between each visit. Self-check-in with unique keypad entry which expires after each guest visit. We have 2 woodburning fireplaces and an enormous outdoor firepit for your enjoyment. Guests provide their own wood. Lower level boasts a sit-down bar, professional poker table with cards and chips provided, shuffleboard, foosball, mini-fridge, 75-inch flat screen with XBOX, luxurious sectional couch, karaoke, Bluetooth speaker, and hot tub access. Snow plowing is provided in the winter months. Other features include: Fully stocked kitchen, wraparound balcony, ample lighted parking, wheelchair accessible first level only with full, non-accessible bathroom and the option to have single bed. Fast Wi fi with smart Roku TVs in every room. Year-round hot tub access, board games and more. Drip coffee and essentials provided. Propane grill on balcony and charcoal grill down by the gazebo area which is plushily furnished along with picnic dining. For young children, a Pack-n-Play, bed rails, and highchair are available upon request.

The cabin is fantastic, very well appointed. Scott was an excellent communicator. Responded to me very quickly. If you have interest in that area for a large group, it’s fantastic.

This was an amazing place to spend NYE. Honestly - what a fun home to spend time with friends with. We had such a great time with the views, the fireplace was divine and the home was so beautiful.

We had a great time at the cabin. The cabin was exactly as described and looks like a model home. Our family made some memories and we were all able to catch up on needed rest. We have stayed at many Air B & B's and Scott's has a lot of additional items, most don't have... like extra trash bags, zip lock bags, marshmallows, chocolate bars and grahams, plus the forks for roasting over the fire. The coffee bar was great and had a variety of coffee's and hot chocolates. We saw deer and hawks. The grandchildren enjoyed the variety of games they had. Our 4 yr old great-granddaughter Lyla said it best "I think we should stay here 5 weeks and not go home.'' It was a little too cold for the outdoor fire pit, but hopefully we can come back and enjoy it another time. The outside areas are great and well thought out. Thanks again Scott & Michaelle

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Chillicothe! The place was very nice, well stocked, and incredibly spacious — perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s tucked away enough to feel completely private, yet close enough to everything we needed. The amenities were thoughtful, and everything was clean and comfortable. We had a great time and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat.

Scott’s listing was as advertised. Safe , secure and peaceful. 15 minutes from groceries and fuel. No barking dogs, no sirens, no traffic,no disgruntled neighbors who live next door to a short term rental. I slept great. About 72 hours of sleep in a four day stay. Hot tub worked. There’s nature; saw a bald eagle and Bambi with her set of twins tromping through the lower 40. It’s rural 100 %. They care bout their listing, you can see it. Thank you

We had a great stay at the Higby House! The amenities provided are fantastic as they had everything we could have wanted (we brought a majority of our own supplies but we forgot a few things which the host had readily available). The cabin itself was beautiful, with enough space for our big group of 14. If you decide to stay, definitely hit up the hot tub and the fireplace for some s'mores! We couldn't have asked for anything more and the host was readily available for any questions or concerns we had upon arrival, throughout the stay, and departing.
